Alex Nicol est un auteur-compositeur-interprète et multi-instrumentiste de Montréal. Après des années à jouer dans différents groupes, Alex sort son premier album solo, All for Nada le 13 mars 2020. Ancré dans un indie rock feutré, rappelant les couleurs d’Alex Cameron et de Timber Timbre, Nicol façonne un univers singulier et chaleureux, bercé par sa voix enveloppante. Ce premier album rend hommage à la relation privilégiée que Nicol entretient avec sa partenaire de longue date, Nada Temerinski, partie prenante du projet, tant dans les arrangements que dans la direction artistique.

Alex Nicol is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentist from Montreal. After years of playing in different bands, Alex released his debut album solo, All for Nada, last March 13th, 2020. Rooted into smooth indie rock, reminiscent of Alex Cameron or Timber Timbre, Nicol’s warm voice tone shapes a singular embracing universe. This album is a homage to the bond he shares with his long-time partner Nada Temerinski, who was involved in everything from song arrangements and production choices, album art, and styling.
